As a prelude to the November Hawaii Nei Art Exhibit, “Art Adventures” are being offered to the community. Next weekend, artists will have the opportunity to paint at Puukohola Heiau National Historical Site in South Kohala.
The free event gets underway at 9:30 a.m. June 18 with participants exploring Puukohola Heiau National Historic Site with an interpretive ranger. They will also learn about the park’s natural resources and talk about native plants grown in the area.
